The Birthday Month Is Upon Us

 
The arrival of September means a deluge of offers are in my inbox from various retailers to celebrate one more lap around the sun. Vons and their sibling Uncle Albertson's gave me double points all month for their rewards program. Ulta has a free gift plus bonus points this month as well.

Upon my return from Temecula Valley I checked my investments and they had one of their best months ever. I celebrated by visiting my new friend Jared and took advantage of a 20% Labor Day Weekend sale.

The watch on the left is Bulova's new Snorkel series watch. It's got a hybrid ceramic case, and this "Clownfish" model has all the colors of one. There's even a clownfish etched into the case back.

The one on the right is Bulova's Millenia model. I fell in love with it while browsing online for one I'd theoretically buy Esmae since black is her aesthetic. The gold tones enhance its timeless appeal, and the rubber band's crimson underside means I can rock San Diego State colors while looking sharp.

I'm also enjoying my big ticket birthday present to myself as we speak. It's been three weeks since I got my ears repierced. Out went the piercings and in went those graded diamond studs I bought a week ago.
