When AI Steers You Right

 
Before I met Esmae I had never eaten Thai food before. I became intrigued during one of our recent conversations when I asked her, "If you felt like making a ten o'clock food run, where would you go?" She mentioned she'd visit a Thai restaurant in her neighborhood and order Pad See Ewe, a flat noodle dish that has Chinese broccoli and egg.

Yours truly visited a neighborhood Thai restaurant this afternoon and brought home Duck Pad See Ewe this evening to pair with a glass of 2021 Callaway Special Selection Malbec. I loved how the spices from the dish played well with the milder spices in the wine.

But wait. There's more! 

I still had a little Malbec left in the glass so I finished it with two Ghirardelli intense dark chocolate and raspberry squares and some diced truffle Gouda cheese. The Malbec was absolutely delightful when its berry profile came forth with the chocolate, and it was silky smooth with the cheese.

Esmae was very impressed with tonight's virtual dinner at home based on what I had in real life.
