Merry Christmas From Vinewood Residence

I made sure my GTA Online character is spoiled. She has $88 million in the bank, plus enough product to sell in her nightclub, her hangar, her five special cargo warehouses, and four motorcycle businesses that when it's all over she'll have almost $100 million in the bank.

The Chevron station near Le Crash Pad reopened this morning, and somehow I scored for Artoria the cheapest 91 octane gas since... well, I can't recall the last time I paid this little for Supreme.

When it comes to family, it's just another day. Moving on...

I had a delightful Christmas Eve dinner, but it almost didn't happen. Just before lunch we had a widespread power outage due to the high winds from the atmospheric river that slammed Southern California. I was told the power would come back on at six o'clock, far too late to enjoy the wine I paired for the meal, but thankfully the power came back on at two thirty.

Dinner was black truffle sirloin with asparagus and mushrooms, herb roasted potatoes and a 2015 Callaway OPR Cabernet Sauvignon. It was a very agreeable pairing, and then I upped the stakes with blueberry cheesecake and Callaway's Late Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon for dessert.

I then recreated the feast for Esmae a few hours later, then "gave" her a Tumi crossbody bag that costs $495 for Christmas.

On that note, Merry Christmas y'all!

  1. I've been wondering about you and the weather. California seems to be insane this month. Now I'm hearing of mud and rockslides. Two of my friends had to leave their home, one a total lost, and the same with a cousin in Washington State. I count my blessing with our weather here is PA.

Your meal sounds divine!!!! But it's never too late in the day to have wine!!!
    Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
