Monday Morning Quarterbacking

Yes, you've seen pictures of my Axial SXC24 Dodge Power Wagon, but have you seen it with all its modifications installed? Well, now you have.

I still have to vent the tires, and the Porch Gods will deliver a leather punch tool later today. This will help the tires conform better to surfaces, and also dispel mud and water if I choose to run it in those conditions.

This doesn't end my RC rock crawler journey. I have an Axial SXC30 Ford Bronco and roughly $200 in Injora upgrade parts on the way. This means the Power Wagon will become mainly for outdoor use, while the little Bronc will crawl obstacles indoors.

I have yet to start my taxes. One of my banks is lagging with their Consolidated 1099 forms, but it's likely because everyone else has their mutual funds through them. I'm assuming it'll be another week before I begin the process of finding out how much I owe the federal government.

As for the bastards at home, I already prepaid my taxes throughout 2025 based on last year's AGI. Whatever refund I get or amount I owe, I'm assuming it's just enough to cover a bag of Fritos.

I have no opinion on what's going on 11.5 hours ahead of me. I'm observing before I pass judgment.

  1. Our tax papers are with the accountant. We paid quarterly taxes on the business so hopefully we won't owe too much.

  2. Patience above! I thought this was an actual truck - until I saw the background (bunch of bums)
