A Question For Y'all...

What are you reading?

For about a week I've been reading A Collection of Poems by Robert Frost. Ever since I started interacting with Esmae she's rekindled my interest in poetry. I do not understand its many forms, including those that have not rhyme but resonance, but I still enjoy it just the same.

September's classic novel is John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath, which I've read previously but not within the last two decades. I got a head start on it Thursday afternoon since it clocks in at over 400 pages. Last month's novel, Virginia Woolf's Orlando, was finished in about four days.

In case I finish Grapes early, I have A.J. Baime's Go Like Hell to remind me how glorious and deadly sports car racing was just before I was born.

  1. Patience above! My new laptop lost all the bookmarks; I have to recreate them from the old laptop. Not to be worrying; I am fixed.
I am reading Moby Dick and War and Peace. Really.

    1. That's right. You mentioned you were reading the first book not long ago. I don't think I've ever read the latter.
